Questions about paying
How do I pay?
Through PayPal, from the Upgrades page of your listing once it is live. Payments go to WeldonPC, which runs businesslist.me.
Does anything renew automatically?
No. Every upgrade is a one-time payment for 12 months. We email you 30 days and 7 days before it ends, and on the day. Renewing early adds 12 months to the current end date.
Can I get a refund?
Upgrades are non-refundable. If your listing is hidden (for example after visitor reports, or because nobody confirmed it is still open), the paid time pauses and resumes when the listing is back. If you delete your listing, its upgrades end with it.
What does the Verified badge prove?
Verified means the owner confirmed an email address and proved control of the business's website domain, on the date shown on the badge. Nothing else. We do not check licenses, insurance, bonding or quality. You only pay after the domain check passes.
Why are Featured and sponsor spots limited?
Each category and city page has 3 Featured spots, and each category and city has one sponsor. The database enforces the limit, so a spot you buy is never shared with more businesses than that. Before you pay, the checkout shows that page's real number of views in the last 30 days, including zero.
Is there sales tax?
No tax is added to the prices shown.
